This exquisite 100% single-estate extra-virgin olive oil comes from the historic Trás-os Montes in Portugal. Because the area’s soil and microclimate are ideal for growing olives, the land has been cultivated for more than a thousand years. Grown without pesticides, the fruit is picked early in the season and immediately cold-pressed to retain its deep fruity flavours and the fresh and spicy aromas. Four classic varietals are used to produce this perfectly balanced oil: Cobrançosa, Verdeal Transmontana, Madural e Cordovil, which represent the olives from this region. The golden-green oil is exceptionally fragrant with grassy notes, a spicy taste and a pleasantly peppery finish. It goes perfectly with your fish or meat meal, wonderful as a salad dressing and even if you deep your bread in it you will love it! Bom apetite!
