Agent for preparation of water;

Used not only when preparing new tanks, but also during partial exchange of water. STARTplus reduces chlorine, attracts metallic elements, protects and supports creation of protective mucus on fish skin.

Start+ is an agent intended for immediate use of water from standard water pipelines, private home wells or surface water sources in your aquarium, without the need of keeping the water idle previously.

Many aquarist beginners, children and even some experienced breeders would like to let the fish into their aquariums immediately after they bring it home. This procedure is unadvisable – it usually leads to initial biologic turbidity resulting from the inefficiency of the filtration media and the denitrifying bacteria. The water may also contain undesirable metals, chlorine, pathogens or various kinds of parasites introduced together with the new fish and plants. Any manipulation with aquarium fish is very stressful for them, it decreases their natural immunity and disrupts their protective mucus. Under such circumstances, fish are very susceptible to diseases, and their condition is dramatically aggravated when we put newly purchased fish into biologically imbalanced aquatic environment.

Of course, it is impossible to create biological balance in the aquarium in one day. However, we may eliminate chlorine, reduce the undesirable effects of metals, and add chemicals into the aquarium water which favourably affect the biorhythm. And that is exactly what Start+ is used for.

Professional aquarists use this agent especially for frequent changes of aquarium water in highly overpopulated breeding tanks, where the ratio of fish dorsum length to water volume (at least 2 litres of water per 1 cm of dorsal length) is exceeded dramatically. Start+ also favourably affects the initial growth of freshly planted plants in your aquarium.

It is recommended to apply appropriate doses of Start+ not only after mechanical interventions in tanks, but also after every curative treatment and after refilling aquarium water.

It is highly recommended to apply Start+ together with the pacifying agent ALOE GEL.

Caution:

This product is harmless; high-quality materials and demineralised water had been used for its production. The agent is sold in a special container which prevents photodecomposition, in order to protect the content of active substances. However, store the product in a dark place and always out of the reach of children!

Dosing:

See the container label. Overdosing does not harm fish, plants or invertebrates.

Start+ should be in stock of every devoted aquarist, just like the agents FMC, Methylene Blue, Acriflavin and Prevent.

Dosing: 5 ml per 25 l water.
